How do I specify who is paying the bill?
FedEx UK (Domestic) only offer a bill shipper option for all charges incurred on a Domestic shipment.
FedEx Express offers multiple methods for shipping a package, to indicate who is responsible for payment of the Transportation and Duties & Taxes (if applicable) please complete the relevant fields detailed below, dependent of which method of shipping you are using:

Section 4. Billing Details
- From the Bill transportation to drop-down list select the party that will be paying for the shipment costs. From the Bill duties/taxes/fees to drop-down list select the party that will be paying for the duties, taxes and fees.
NOTE: If billing a third party, enter their FedEx account number.
FedEx Ship Manager Lite
Section 4. Payment
Shipment Payment Method:
- From the Bill to drop-down list select the party (Credit Card, My Account, Recipient, Third Party) who is responsible for payment of the transportation charges.
Duties, Taxes, and Fees Payment Method:
- From the Bill to drop-down list select the party (My Account, Recipient, Third Party) who is responsible for payment of the duties, taxes and fees. NOTE: If billing the recipient or a third party, enter their FedEx account number.

- Tick the relevant box Sender / Recipient / Third Party

Bill duties and taxes to:

NOTE: If billing the recipient or a third party, enter their FedEx account number.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
If you choose to bill the recipient or third party, you also need to enter their account number. Please note however that some countries do not allow you to bill the recipient or a third party, please check with Customer Service if you wish to choose one of these options.
