Why is my credit card payment declined even though I have successfully used it in the past?

One of the possible reasons is that your credit card may have been linked to your FedEx account before January 2021 and needs to be authorized. This is a requirement of the EU regulation called Payment Services Directive (PSD2), which aims to enhance security of credit card payments through Strong Customer Authentication. To authorize your credit card, please call our Customer Service to update your credit card details.
